Foundations for Building Family Resilience provides an introduction to the FOCUS for Families model. This course consists of nine modules, containing videos and quizzes, designed to prepare providers for a live in-person training. In each module, participants will watch a family experience the FOCUS model and hear explanations of implementation techniques from FOCUS experts William R. Saltzman, PhD and Catherine Mogil, PsyD. FOCUS for Families is an evidence-based preventive intervention consisting of eight skill-building sessions where families learn skills to stay strong and supportive of each other during stressful times.
